Subject: want to learn Dutch.

hello list-folk...

i am a german/english translator,
and i'm hoping to broaden my knowledge
of the germanic languages/dialects...

but its been so long since i began
to learn a language, i really don't
know where to start :-(

i've decided that i want to focus
(for now) on standard Dutch, not knowing
if there is a correct name for this (Niederländisch?)...

does anyone on the list have any favorite
dictionaries, grammars, that they could reccomend to
me?....

its fine to email me off-list...

bij voorbaat dank...

Hi to you:

Your request is not quite clear to me.
But I found once an Afrikaans-English dictionary on:
www.freelang.net

I guess you are looking for an 'automatic web
translation'.
Anyhow, good luck.
