From: Ben J. Bloomgren <godsquad at cox.net>
Subject: Frisian and Zeelandic

Does anybody know where I can find a good pronunciation guide for Frisian
and Zeelandic? I went to Matthieu's site on Brabantish, but it would help if
I spoke Dutch. Unfortunately, I have not yet plunged into the Germanic
languages as a whole. Where can I go to see corresponding values in English?
Thanks,
Ben

Ben,

I'm not able to help you there (unless I translated any possibly not yet
translated relevant parts, for which I don't have time). However, for the
benefit of other subscribers please let me add the URL of our own Mathieu
van Woerkom's terrific and very well presented resource site (and I think it
is the one you referred to):

Taal in Nederland
("Language in the Netherlands," with many of the presentations in English,
Limburgish and Frisian, besides Dutch):
http://httpd.chello.nl/~w.vanwoerkom/

Mathieu is also one of the main creators of our own developing site
"Lowlands Talk" (http://www.lowlands-l.net/talk/) for which we could do with
some more volunteer help.

Cheers!
Reinhard/Ron
