Subject: Groenings

I met a young man with the last name of Sikkema, and had the occasion to
meet his parents last evening.  When I asked them if they spoke any Fries,
they said no, but the father said that he spoke Groenings.  When I got home,
I looked for information on this dialect at our site, and finding nothing,
did a Google search which turned up:
http://home.wanadoo.nl/w.a.m.gerrits/
However this site didn't seem to give much real information about the
language, especially in regard to where it fits on the language map (or tree
if you like).
