Moin Lowlanders!

"Vun de Fischer un syne Fru" and "De Machandelboom" were collected by Philip
Otto Runge, a famous artist at that time. If I remember correctly, he wrote
them down somewhere in Mecklenburg but changed the dialect somewhat. He
wrote down as well "De Weetloop twüschen de Haas un de Igel" which takes
place in the near of Hamburg, in Buxtehude (I didn't look it up on a map but
you might know it, Ron).

I do, I do, Anja! "Bukst(h)uud'" [bUks't_hu:.(d)] in dey olde spraak. Isn't

tails") or something silly like that?
