I may be wrong but I always thought Beltane was the May Day holiday?

OK technically speaking a Celtic quarter year fest or something like that.

Perhaps it may be a good idea to have a page on the website explaining how
to do this with various email software packages. Surely those of us who have
managed to figure this out can put something together with screen-shot
'click-here' guidance.

A link to this page could then be included in the mail header e.g.

Using Unicode (UTF-8): http://www.lowlands-l.net/…

Perhaps this could also be mentioned on the
http://www.lowlands-l.net/index.php?page=rules#posting page.

Thanks, Andy!

You are not wrong. It is the antithesis of Samhain (lit. "summer's end")
and in the Southern Hemisphere is celebrated on the same day as Samhain.
Our list being global (and me being, technically speaking, an Euopean-born
"Aussie Up Over"), I never lose sight of our Antipodean members (e.g., in
Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Chile and
Argentina).

Great suggestion, Andy! Thanks. I'm not sure if Mathieu and I can do this
single-handedly. Do we have any volunteer(s) willing to write a simple
blurb about it so we can post it? If so, please write to me
(sassisch at yahho.com) and Mathieu van Woerkom
(mathieu.vanwoerkom at student.kun.nl) so we can coordinate something.

Your help is much appreciated, Andy, as always.

Lowlanders, I forgot to mention (which is unforgivable) that I very much
hope that all of our members living in Southern California are safe, that
they and their loved ones are not directly affected by the terrible wild
fires. Personally, I am still trying to restore connection with my friends
near Simi Valley and in San Diego. Hang in there, guys, but also get out of
there if things get to hot to handle! We'll be thinking of you.

Regards,
Reinhard/Ron
