Folks,

The city of Altona is turning 340 years!  What an history!  Sometimes under
Danish power, then under German power, oftentimes a safe haven for Jews from
Portugal and Hamburg, and finally a part of Hamburg …  (And it’s my mother’s
native place.)  Below please find an announcement (courtesy of Plattnet.de)
of an event on August 21.
