Leve Leeglanners,

Up mien Klaus-Groth-Sied (http://www.geocities.com/grothwarken/) heff ik
maal wedder 'n Riemel bidaan: "Min Anna", 'n Leevsleed, dat mi an "My Luve's
Like a Red, Red Rose" vun d'n schottschen Dichtersmann Robert Burns dinken
maakt.

Kumpelmenten,

Dear Lowlanders,

I've posted another one of Klaus Groth's Lowlands Saxon (Low German) folksy
poems at my Klaus Groth site (http://www.geocities.com/grothwarken/): _Min
Anna_ ("My Anna"), one that seems vaguely reminiscent of "My Luve's Like a
Red, Red Rose" by the Scots writer Robert Burns.

Regards,
Reinhard/Ron

O, my luve’s like a red, red rose
   That’s newly sprung in June
O, my luve’s like the melodie
   That’s sweetly play’d in tune

As fair art thou, my bonie lass
So deep in luve am I
And I will luve thee still, my Dear
Till a’ the seas gang dry

Till a’ the seas gang dry, my Dear
And the rocks melt wi’ the sun!
O I will luve thee still, my Dear
While the sands o’ life shall run

             Robert Burns (1759–1796)
