Dear Ron,

Subject: Semantics

I would _trek_ a box out from the closet or _trek_ a struggling

How would you analyse the A-S term 'heretoga' (Afr. 'hertog') in this
context?
Usage of the Afrikaans 'tog - journey, trip' seems to have lost ground to
'trek' & 'sleep' in every other sense.

Yrs,
Mark
