For news info in Dutch, and in some other languages, I made my own url with
a list of news urls I regularely consult, whereever I am.

It is on page:
http://www.euro-support.be/search.htm

Some newspapers require you to apply for a logon ID (which is kept in a
cookie afterwards, so you do not need to log-on all the time). In most
cases, but not all, this is for free.

Regards,

Roger

Subject: Translation Efforts Brings Notice from Microsoft

I found this very interesting notice in this weeks edition of the GNOME
Summary [1]:

Microsoft has decided to release a Welsh translation pack for Windows
thanks to the efforts of a small group of Welsh translators working on
translations for Linux. While not exactly GNOME specific, the people
involved in the Welsh translations also work on GNOME translations
including Telsa Gwynne and Rhys Jones. Just shows how working on
translations is an important part of a desktop project. After all, it
woke up the sleeping giant!
