Hello Ron
I don't quite know which subject line to give, but this one seems to me the
most appropriate. I sometimes read a Dutch newspaper on-line (at:
www.nd.nl), and I came across an interesting article about the language of
the island of Terschelling, in the north of the Netherlands. There is the
issue of copyrights, so I can't just copy and paste the article, but I can
give you the website address. (They have allowed me in the past, to copy
and distribute an article if I included the source. They may allow you to
do the same. It's worth trying, or just posting the link to this article.)
The article on the website can be found at:
http://www.nd.nl/newsite/artikel.asp?id=27844
Groeten, Jannie

Thanks a lot, Jannie! You did well, on all counts, and your consistent
sharing, input and support are much appreciated.

This is a very interesting article (in Dutch). I had assumed that the local
variety was extinct.

Regards,
Reinhard/Ron
