in Meyers Lexikon vun 1925 heff ik noch wat anners funnen:

"Brave Westwinde, Westwinde der südlichen Halbkugel, die recht beständig
(brav) wehen und den Segelverkehr erleichtern. Sie erzeugen die
zusammenhängende Westwinddrift, die in höhern südlichen Breiten als
Luft- und Meeresströmungsring die Erde umkreist."

"Bravo (Mehrzahl bravi), Italiener, der sich zu gewagten Unternehmungen,
besonders Mord (s. Banditen), dingen läßt; bei den Sarazenen
freiwilliger, der sich vor dem Kampf mit Haschisch oder Opium berauschte."
