   FRANZÖÖSSCHE WÖÖR

Franzöössche Wöör! Wat för 'n Pläseer!
Ja, se bewiest een fein Maneer.
Een Snack ahn Fransch is keen Malöör,
Tu sang Frangßee, as Buur or Göör.

Up Platt geiht 't ook, meist akzeptabel.
Mit Hoogdüütsch lettst al wat kumpabel.
   Man mit Franzöössch so passlatant
Is dat so schick, heel elegant!

   Seggst du to'n Putzbüdel "Frisöör",
To'n Keerl, de di rümföhrt, "Schofföör",
   To'n Weekkees' "Kamenbert" or "Brie",
Dat imponeert. Denn höört se di.

   Drinkst "Schampanjer", keen Brusewien,
   Ittst "Orangschen", keen Appelsien'n.
Wat Fransch lett, ja, dat imponeert.
   Up Fransch ward allens estemeert.

Sittst du an'n Sünndag up't Schisslong
Un summst vun Schack Brell 'n Schangsong
   Up dien Fassong, emprovisee,
Dinkst du di: "Schö swie arrivee!"

Hest maal 'n Schangs to'n Visiteern,
Denn akzepteerst du dat heel geern,
Köörst dien Gardroob' so heel adrett,
Sprüttst noch Pafföng. Denn büst kumplett.

In 'n Atteljee bi 'n Vernisaasch,
   Daar modeleerst dien nee Kledaasch
   Mang Ootkotüür, deep Dekoltees
   Un Bavardaasch alla Frangßees.

Daar gifft 't Ordöövre un Liköör.
   Du ittst Bagett, Kroßangsoböör,
   Muulst nonschalant alla Frangßees
Un nimmst vun'n Plattoo noch wat Kees'.

'Keen kann, de kann, kann imponeern,
De bruukt sik ook nich defendeern.
'Keen kann, de deit dat eklatant,
   Partu franzöössch, un is kuntant.
