Tomorrow (Friday) morning not so bright but early, I'll be undergoing a
routine diagnostic procedure.  Since this involves sedation and anesthesia,
I will not be able to use the computer for the rest of the day.

will get to it at my earliest convenience the following day, if not late
that same day.  Furthermore, you don't need to wait.  Keep sending your

Thanks, Críostóir, Jacqueline and everyone who wrote to me privately!

Thanks for the good wishes.  It really was a routine thing and nothing 
major, though unfortunately one part will have to be repeated due to an 
error ...  (Now there's another thing to look forward to.)

I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays, and our friends of non-Christian 
and non-Jewish backgrounds and/or faiths are having pleasant times also. 
Shouldn't *every* day be considered special?
