words listed with both Latinate and Germanic sources, surely?"
But, of course, it would.  In fact I checked it for those words, but it's
not nearly as fulfilling (satisfying) as a list of esoteric proto-Modern
English words derived from Old English and by-passing the Norman influence.
I happen to be an INTP in the Myers-Briggs typology, so what could be more
interesting than day-dreaming about something that never was, but, just
might could (notice the double modal) be.  (He said with his tongue pressed
firmly in his cheek)

In my West-Limburgish (Lonerlands from the municipality of Vliermaal)

Kist: Kiess
(diminutive with short i: kiske)

Geldskist: geldkiess

Brandkast: Koffreforr (cf. French: coffre fort)

Kast: Kaas (sleeptoon)
Kastje: Kaaske (stoottoon without umlaut)
Kaars: Kaas (also sleeptoon)  (candle)
Kaarsje: Kèèske (stoottoon with umlaut)

Een doos: En dows [feminin]
Een doosje: Ee döske [neuter]

Doodskist: zerrek

Dows: generally a _cardboard_ box
Kiess: a _wooden_ crate (for e.g. 25 to 35 kg of apples, or up to 50 kg of
potatoos
Kaas: cupboard, cabinet... (furniture)

Een zak (paper bag): en moal [feminin]
Een zak (pointed paper bag): en toet [feminin] (e.g. en toet fritte: a
pointed bag with French fries)
A carrier bag: en kerbaas [feminin]
A school bag: en mallet [feminin]
A schoolsatchel: énne kapelder [masculin] (with two little leather bindings,
one over each of the shoulders)
