By the way, folks ...

On a marginal but connected track to the north of us, there's a great
Icelandic resource offered by the University of Wisconsin as a part of their
(excellent) digital collection:

Icelandic Dictionary and Reading
http://libtext.library.wisc.edu/IcelOnline/

It includes a dictionary, an online course (!) and a lovely collection of
reading material.

I recommend it very highly and am quite delighted about it, given that
Icelandic language web resources were previously _meðallag_ (mediocre,
so-so) at best.
