Moi Reinhard,

Merakels mooi kerel.
Ik heb geneuten van joen umzetting in platt.
Dit is een veurbield van 'n volksvertelling dat in in 't laandschap bij oonz
bijna niet meer te vienden is.
Tenminste ie mut ze zuuken mit een lanteern.
A'k dit soort verhalen leze dan welt mien dichters en prozaharte op en
geniet ik mit volle teugen.
