Mien Fründin koomt uut Angeln, is in Flensburg oppwussen un kann 'n heel
lütt beten Nedderdüütsch.

Se vertell mi vöör 'n Stood, wat in ehr 'Platt' (anne Kant van Missingsch,
dücht mi)) dat Woord G: 'auf', LS: 'opp', E: 'open' in de Meen' van G:
'müde, kaputt, fertig', E: 'tired, bushed, he's done it' bruukt waard. In
uns LS seggt wi jüst dat Gegendeel: 'tou', G:: 'zu', E: 'closed (in a
transposed sense)'.

Kennst Du dat ouk in disse Oort? Is dat LS or alleen Missingsch?

Ick weet man jüst, wat in Flensburg-Missingsch van de 'aufe Tür' un dat 'zue
Fenster' snackt waard.

Nich bloß in Flensbuich! Nee, das sacht man auch so auf Hambuager 
Missingsch; z.B. _Bei das aufe Rollo kamman žå gå nich schlåfm._, _Weiß schå 
nich, wassä då hinnä die zue Tüä wiedä an Rummachng is._
