Folks,

Here's an example of a relatively young performer regularly using Low Saxon 
(Low German) in her work.  It's Ina Müller (http://www.inamueller.de).  She 
was born and raised in Köhlen, near Cuxhaven, at the mouth of the Elbe 
river.

Müller -- one half of the team Queen Bee, which apparently has now done its 
last buzzing --integrates Low Saxon portions with her stand-up routines, 
most of which fall into the spoof category, spin her alleged everyday 
experiences into far-away realms of absurdity (not unlike in the 
Yiddish-rooted vaudeville comedy tradition).  Her routines, like her 
published writings, are delivered with large pinches of chutzpah and 
irreverence, oftentimes poking fun at men (and the women that aim to please 
them) who haven't quite made it to the 21st century, especially as far as 
women are concerned.

there's a written portion as well as a longish audio snippet from one of her

Notice (if you can) her code switching: German, almost-Missingsch and Low 
Saxon.  (Those of you who are new to this need to listen several times, 
because the delivery is rather fast.)
