Beste Heiko,
(English below)
Dien Mout in Eehrn- man nu loot avv!

> Die Mathematik hat sich ja (im Deutschen wie auch im Englischen) ein
> ganzes
> Rudel von sehr speziellen Wörtern gezüchtet, um alle möglichen
> mathematischen
> Sachverhalte auszudrücken. Im Plattdeutschen fehlt das bisher.
Un dat loot man eyrst ouk sou. Mook 'n ennig Woyrbouk, dor hesst du noug mit
tou doun. Ouk mit de Pleeg, dey dor achterher koomen deyt, kannst woll 'n
poor Lüüd mit Arbeyd tousmieten.
Un- keyn Deubel schall dor woll 'rinkieken. Wenn ick no wat viegelyynschen
mathemaatschen Kroom soyken dou, go ick op de Houchdytsche or Ingelsche
wikipedia un al me Leev ne op de Nedderdytsche.
Is doch nu all sou- wenn ick ernsthaffig no jichenseyn Verkloorn för
wat-ouk-jymmer soyken dou, go ick wiss ne no wikiplatt mit al dey Översetten
van de Houchdytsche wiki.
Dat is de groude Schangse för wiktionary.platt- dor schöllt de Lüüd woll
fooken nokieken, *wenn 't denn ennig ward un wat tou beyden hett*. Dor
muttst dien Knööv un Macht bi insetten, dycht my.

> Oder taugt Platt am Ende doch nur noch für den Klönschnack im Dorfkrug und
> für
> die Landwirtschaft?
Na! Pass op, du krellte Jung ;-)- snackst di an'n Innen noch üm Kopp un
Krogen!!!
...............
(English summary)

Dear Heiko,

adoring your courage- but: don't overestimate you.
(>> He is ambitious to found any wiki-stuff for mathematics in LS, because
he feels some lack there.)
And let it run this way. To make a good lexicon in LS is work enough,
additional regarding the service which will be necessary. It will be enough
work for not only one man.
And I guess- nobody really will be interested in any thing like that. If I
myself have to look after any mathematical matters I always should prefer
Wiki in the High German or English version- never to any LS-stuff.
Already now I don't look into wikiplatt to find more or less well transited
articles from the English or German wikipedia.

But I see a really good chance for a wiktionary in LS. Maybe people often
could use it if, an only then, if it's able to convince by its high
standard!! There for you should spend all your strength and power.

(> He asks, if LS is just qualified to be spoken in any pub or amongst
farmers)
Watch your words, nasty boy! At the end you risk your neck ;-)!

Greutens/Regards

Johannes "Jonny" Meibohm
