I live in Austin which is about 80 miles north of San Antonio.  There's a
lot to see in both places.  But, one sort of out of the way place is Panna
Maria.  It was/is a predominately Polish settlement in Texas.  When the Pope
came to visit San Antonio back in the '80s a "delegation" from Panna Maria
went to meet with him.  I've been there once.  It's a very small place with
a lovely church.  Panna Maria is east of San Antonio.
