Beste Mark,

Ek stem toetentaal saam met jou. RSG en Radio Pretoria het albei hul eie 
voordele en hul eie besonderse programme. Hulle vul mekaar goed aan in 'n 
veelsydige land soos Suid-Afrika, sonder om te verval in 'n nie-lojale 
verset nie (om maar 'n uitspraak van NP Van Wyk Louw aan te haal).
Ek dink dis pragtig dat ons vêr oor die blou see twee Afrikaanse 
radiostasies kan beluister. Ek luister meestal na Radio Sonder Grense (van 
die staatsuitsaaikorporasie SAUK - skuus - SABC). Gunstelingprogramme is:

- Konsertinaklub (tradisionele musiek)
- Spektrum (nuusgebeure)
- Alla Wêreld (musiek van regoor die wêreld)
- Amanda Coetzer se Musiek sonder Grense
- Tjailatyd ('n gesellige huistoeryprogram met Afrikaanse en partykeer 
Nederlandse musiek)
- Dis Opera (Johann Botha)
- Alle programme waar klassieke musiek en jazz gespeel word
- Kapit'yt ('n program wat Nederlanders herinner aan ou Nederlandse 
ballroomatmosfeer en -musiek
(soms met 'n heerlike Mbqanga-liedjie of 'n Township Jive)

En dan dink ek 'basta nou daarmee' en wend ek my tot die eg Afrikaanse 
boeremusiek, ou Europese en Afrikaanse luisterliedjies en 'droë' gepraat van 
Volksmikrofoon en ander programme by Radio Pretoria. Voor elck wat wils.

Sowel RSG as Radio Pretoria herinner my aan Nederlandse radioprogramme van 
voor die tagtigerjare. Ek dink dit is nogal snaaks: die rus, die 
vriendelikheid, die afwesigheid van misplaaste humor, baie boekvoorlesings 
(ek hou nie daarvan nie), ens.

Mark, jy vra of daar 'n Skotstalige radiostasie is. Nou wonder ek of jy 
'Scots' of 'Gaelic' bedoel. Want onlangs het ek 'n puik Gaelic webblad 
gevind op die Skotse BBC-webwerf en ek het lekker daarna geluister: "BBC - 
Scotland - Alba, Radio nan Gaidheal". Klik net op _Èist a-rithist_:

Jy kan ook opgeneemde programme beluister, soos 'n weeklikse 
volksmusiekprogram. Dis baie lekker. Radio Bleue in Frankrijk het ook 'n 
Keltiese afdeling, vir die Bretonse volk, ook op elke Vrydag met 'n 
volksmusiekprogram.
