Hello!
Just a quick note on plans for a possible Low Saxon/Plattdeutsch
software resource for the future. David Stephens of LinguaShop Software in
Bavaria is considering doing a "TeachMe! Platt" software program as part of
their "TeachMe!" language-learning series (which would likely include an
Audio CD and Low Saxon reading book of short texts, as well) if he can get
some knowledgeable volunteers to help with recording and translations of
texts.
The software would be available for native speakers of several
different languages (English, Spanish, Italian, Hochdeutsch, Gaelic, etc.)
to learn Low Saxon, and could potentially be a very valuable resource. If
you are interested in helping and are a native speaker of Low Saxon (ideally
from around the Hamburg or Bremen general areas) please send an e-mail to
him at: david.stephens at linguashop.com

Thank you,
Chad Kieffer

Thanks for that tip, Chad, and congratulations on your perfectly executed
speakers' corner debut!

Regards,
Reinhard/Ron
