I thought that some of you might find this interesting:

 Low Saxon edition of the wikipedia
 (http://nds.wikipedia.org) has grown over the threshold of 2000 articles.

 The 2000th article was about the Iranian town of Bam
 (http://nds.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bam)

 Some other recent submissions were

 * http://nds.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ampere
 and
 * http://nds.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emir Kusturica
