But most North Americans, when they talk about having "Native American blood" are
talking purely about genetics.  I'm willing to bet that Johnny Depp speaks no
more Cherokee than I do, and probably doesn't know much more about the history
and culture of the tribe.  And if he does, he's learned it in exactly the same
way I would.
