I take it that by "this" you are referring to the new movie among the three 
items I listed.  (This is the problem with brief responses without 
quotations -- and entire issues dangling at the end are automatically 
deleted here.)  For the sake of those who joined us today (Welcome!), I am 
quoting myself below.

Apparently, the movie is in (Modern) English.

While these days we rely on the only extant version, which is in Old 
English, it is quite possible that there were earlier versions, most likely 
orally transmitted ones that were not written down or have not survived and 
that were in Old Norse (which is non-Lowlandic), probably in an ancestral 
dialect of Danish and/or Gothlandic (Gutnish), for the story is set in those 
parts, not in Britain and not in other parts of the Lowlands.  In other 
words, the extant version may not be *the* original one.
