Was dat werkelijk katholiek vs. protestant of was het (ook) noord vs. zuid?
Alleen al aan de zachte _g_ herkennen wij noorderlingen gewoonlijk een
zuiderling incl. een grote kans dat dat een katholiek betreft.
In de geologische ligging zijn de taalverschillen volgens mij gemakkelijker
te herkennen dan in de 'gelovige ligging'.
Zo zegt men in het westen "de deur is open" als wij zeggen "de deur is los",
zij zeggen "tien voor half zes" waar wij zeggen "twintig over vijf", zij
zeggen "ijskast" waar wij "koelkast" zeggen, "in bed" vs. "op bed", enz.
Wellicht zijn goedgelovigen ook te herkennen aan kale of vale plekken op hun
broek ter hoogte van de knie?
Ik zal daar toch eens op gaan letten;-)
