Dear Lowlanders,

As some of you seem to have noticed, we have been having server problems 
resulting in some posting submissions being automatically undeliverable.  I 
apologize and assure you that I am doing everything within my power to work 
out the problem in a speedy manner.

In the meantime, please be your usual patient and understanding selves. 
Keep submitting postings, but make sure you have copies of your work in case 
you need to resubmit it.

I will let you know when everything is expected to be working satisfactorily 
again.

I particularly apologize to those of you who just joined us from 
Stellenbosch in South Africa and from Berlin in Germany.  This is admittedly 
not a nice welcome, but I assure you that it is a fairly rare event and that 
we will do our utmost to make you feel welcome despite this glitch.
