Subject: Anniversary

Folks,

This is for those of you who have acted as facilitators for the anniversary
project (lowlands-l.net/anniversary/) and for those of you who still aspire
to so lofty a status.

I would like to add a few more pages featuring guest contributors. (Those
are people that helped with the project without being Lowlands-L members.)
If among those you kindly brought (or will still bring) to the table there
are any that you think are especially interesting, enthusiastic and
amenable, please by all means invite them to submit a brief introductory
blurb each, along with a photo of them.

The intro should be brief and should contain something about them, their
area, language and/or culture. But the style can be chosen by them and
you. It may be in any language, though it would be nice to have at least an
English version with it (which doesn't need to be an exact translation).

You need to tell those people that they are not expected to be experts of
anything or intellectuals.

Here are existing feature blurbs:
lowlands-l.net/anniversary/feature_nina-en.php
lowlands-l.net/anniversary/feature_dante.php

By the way, such features and the includsion of non-Lowlands language
translations seem to be having the desired effect. They entice people that
otherwise might not have cared, and indirectly this leads them to acquaint
themselves with our focus. I know for certain that three people joined us
because of this.

Thanks for keeping at it!

Reinhard/Ron
