Subject: Songs

Dear Lowlanders,

A while ago we talked about our song contest. I hope you haven't forgotten
about it and many of you are already working on your entries.

I have created a special website for it, an isolated one, i.e. one that is
not interconnected with any other site, because it is for Lowlands-L
members' eyes only: lowlands-l.net/contest/

The most important information (for now) is on the index page (i.e. the
first page you see) and on the instructions page (
lowlands-l.net/contest/instructions.php). Please read them carefully, no
matter if you intend to submit entries or not.

All members will be able to take part in the judging, and voting is
anonymous, so there will be no excuse for not participating.

Please note that the deadline has changed. You'll understand why when you
read the text.

Please let us know if you have any questions and/or suggestions. It would be
best if you did so in postings to the List (under "Songs"), because your
questions and suggestions may be of interest to others.

Let's try to be creative and have as much fun with it as possible!

And don't be shy!
