Subject: Festivities

Albeit a day or two late, I send congratulations and best wishes to our
fellow members in and from India and Pakistan on the 60th anniversary of
their respective countries.  Festivities continue.

The two countries share much in terms of language and culture, and both use
English, a Lowlands language, among their official languages.

Let's hope for peace between the relatives!
