Hi Wesley,

Ron has given you detailed information.
Let me add:

+do not promote the book as a children book; leave
this to a publisher.
+try to find an akin illustrator who makes black-white
pictures, partly full-page, partly smaller and, in the
old style, 'illustrated' beginning capitals of the
chapters.
+try to find a company that is willing to give the
book as a christmas-present to staff [and relations].
+ if so, it is much easier for a publisher to say yes
to you; and -in general- then a break-even point will
be reached by selling 1500 copies.
