Dear Lowlanders,

Thanks to those of you that have responded to my revamped version of the
English Wikipedia entry "Missingsch" (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Missingsch).

In the meantime I have cleaned it up some more and have also added some
information, including some more vocabulary (some of it "pinched" from our
WikiPlatt friends' version) and some more references to (oral) literature.

A fringe benefit: our Utz sent me a sound file to go with his Bremen
Missingsch translation of the Wren story. Thanks, Utz!

So now we have sound files to go with both:

   - Bremen: http://lowlands-l.net/anniversary/missingsch-bremen1.php
   - Hamburg: http://lowlands-l.net/anniversary/missingsch-hamburg1.php

Utz found a novel way of making his recording. I'm sure he won't mind me
sharing it with you in hopes of removing further excuses ;-) :

I have recorded it with my cell phone, transmitted the file with Bluetooth
to my PC and started it by doubleclicking. It was opened by Real Player and
I could listen to it. It is in amr format. I am not sure wether it is useful
or not, but I have no idea how to produce it as mp3-file.

Well, I was able to convert it to MP3 format.

So how about the rest of you lot doing this with your versions?

Thanks and regards,
Reinhard/Ron
