Subject: LL-L 'Names'

Beste Highlanners,

these days I came across a Whisky-brand named *'Cadenhead'*. It seems to be
one of those very expensive and famous ones I never shall get a chance to
taste it...

I made some investigations about the word and found *'Caden'* as a famous
Irish/Gaelic name (meanwhile used in Germany as well).
So- it should be a name composed of parts from two languages, or could there
be any different, Germanic-rooted meaning for '*caden',* as we can find in
locations sited in our region? Here it denotes something like *'border'* or
*'edge'.*
