Yes, yes- I've heard about the pre-Indo-European influence in northern
Germany. It must have happened in those dark times ante *'Lowlands Travel'*.
Before the Low Saxon city of Bremen was founded the old people visiting the
place near the Weser-river shouted "Bremsen, bremsen!(*Slow down!)*" just to
avoid to fall into the water. Many of them then migrated further to build up
the city of Hamburg, shouting "Dat hammer jut jemacht! (Berlin slang: *We've
done a dammn'd good job!)".*
