Another sad story. "Talk op Platt" was cut short from 1.5 hours to 1 hour
and
it was moved to the afternoon.
www.ndr.de/tv/talkopplatt does not list any new dates, so I am not even sure
whether that program still exists. I have not found any new dates even in
tvinfo.de

As most of you must have figured out by now, it was I responding to the
Spiegel article.

Thanks for the update about "Talk op Platt," Heiko.

I heard similar things and am as mystified about it as you are.  This sort
of thing has been going on for quite some time, and some protests in the
past did have some influence.  According to my friend Jürgen Hebold (who
lives just north of Hamburg), the program has been killed:

De NDR hett jo de Senn' "Talk io Platt" lang instellt, wiel se to wenig
Tokieker harrn. De Grund dorför weer, dat se dat an Sünndag Vörmeddag bröcht
hebbt. Loter hebbt se dat an Sünndag op 15:45 Uhr versett. Dat hett ober ok
nix bröcht. De Lüüd sett sik to de Tiet noch nich vör't Kiekschapp. Nu gifft
dat vun NDR "De Welt op Platt". Dor is Yerid Dibaba för üm de Welt flogen.
Dat Team weer in New York, in Iowa, in Paraguay un in Südafriko. De Bidräge
sünd goot ankomen. Is ober ok üm 15:45 bit 16:30 Uhr an Sünndag bröcht
worrn. Nu is Yerid Dibaba in Australen ween. He hett den evangelscher Paster
Mick Fauchon dor besöcht. Op Empfehlen vun Dirk Römmer. Mick Fauchon un sien
Fru Hannelore weern in Januor 2006 för acht Doog bi uns. Dörch Clara un

Seattle in Kontakt. De Vereen hett düt Johr jo 100jähriges Bestohn. Dorför
wöllt de Lüüd vun den NDR röberflegen un dat opteken. Ik heff dorför sorgt,
dat de Lüüd een Ansteker vun Arne Bruhn kriegt. Dat is de Fohn vun
Sleswig-Holsteen mit den Test "Ik snack ok Platt".
