Didn't want to crawl out of the woodwork just yet, but seeing people talk
about action, instead of just how we like our language, I thought I'd pitch
in a couple words. Always wanted to really do something, never knew where to
start though.

By the way, I don't agree that none of us Saxons (I'll just call it that)
has any self esteem where our heritage is concerned, or that nobody feels
like we're a unity, like the Catalans do, or that nobody even knows about
our little piece history anymore. There may not be many people, but there
are some. Like me. It's like that Catalan kid said, I got a Dutch passport,
but I don't feel like I'm Dutch. I feel like I'm a, well, Saxon, one of the
Tukker variety, just happening to live on the left side of the divide.

Those of you who aren't aware of this already, Henry's dialect of Low Saxon

One of the most, if not the most, conservative varieties in that area, if I
may add.

cheers,
Henry
