If that were true then a LARGE section of the Indo-Europeanist scholarly
community would have nothing to write books about ... YES, there ARE
persuasive arguments for specific geographic originS ... and equally
persuasive arguments for otherS. Hereabouts (India), I don't hesitate to say
that the average Indo-Europeanist says you all came from HERE rather than
vice versa; in Russia quite a different Homeland wins the day. (Of course
the persuasive arguments on BOTH sides are NOT untinged by a bit of
nationalism, but that does NOt make them any the less persuasive).
