Re "schoonzusterbroer" and  „Schwipschwager"

Hallo Jenny and Wolfram,

My Mother, who was raised in Twente by my Low-Saxon Grandmother, once used
the term Zwiepzwager when talking about the brother of her brothers' wife. I
could not find the word in my "van Dale" and the possibility exists that
this was a Germanism used by my Nordhorn born Grandmother. It is also
possible that it really is a part of the Twents vocabulary. It does fit with
the involvement with the expanded family which I remember from my youth.

Misschien zou een van onze Twents of Achterhoeks sprekende leden hier het
een en ander over kunnen zeggen. Verder is er natuurlijk het probleem dat
wij niet van een "Zwagerin" spreken, maar van een schoonzuster.
