Folgende Gedanken von Robert Schumann (1810 - 1856, Romantiker) möchte ich
hier zuerst erwähnen:
*Höre fleißig auf alle Volkslieder, sie sind eine Fundgrube der schönsten
Melodien und öffnen dir den Blick in den Charakter der verschiedenen
Nationen.*

Welch eine Ãœberraschung und Freude stieg in mir auf, als ich *De Liedjeskist
*öffnete.
Die fröhliche und beschwingte Anfangsmelodie machte mich neugierig. So hörte
ich mir viele Lieder an, und natürlich *Suze Naanje* (F-Dur). Ich verglich
die Melodie mit *Eia, Kindken, ick weege di *(A-Dur).  Beide Fassungen
stimmten überein (also nur  eine Transposition).
Sprache und Melodie klingen sehr schön, einfach und schlicht und berührend.
Welch ein Reichtum schenkte mir *De Liedjeskist.*
Da muß man dir RON für all' deine Recherchen danken.

Und es könnte möglich sein, dass wir vielleicht noch über *Abendlieder *unsere
Meinungen austauschen werden.

Yes, Hanne, the *Liedjeskist* (http://www.liedjeskist.nl/) is a great
resource presented by Jeannette Fremouw in the Netherlands.

To us in or from Northern Germany it offers an opportunity to identify
traditional Low Saxon (Low German) songs that we share with our relatives in
the Netherlands, Belgium and French Flanders. Most of these, both Low Saxon
and Dutch, could easily be translated into Low Saxon of Germany. There are
also some Frisian and South African songs.

Besides, *Suze Naanje*, I've come across these:

*Ain boer wol noar zien noaber tou* (Ein Buur woll naar sien Naber to) -
