Subject: [LLL] traditions/customs

Hallo Alle Sammen,

Being that, according to the way I'm reading the Persian solar calendar,
it'll be midwinter sometime this week. Do people up in the original Lowlands
do anything for midwinter? I've heard about something called Candlemas
(Candelaria/candeloro), but I know not one lick a how that goes.

Fanks,

Ben from sunny Scottsdale, Arizona where it's about 26 centigrade today!
