 Dear Lowlanners,

resp. 'Kangaroo' John M. Tait (1) and Clarke David (2) explained:

(1)"I can't get out". The story was told to me a long time ago by a
Scotswoman.

(2) Perhaps he meant to say "Ah canna ga oot" ...

I couldn't believe it at first - but once more it's similar to German Low
Saxon: "Cann' ne 'ruut!' But I don't believe in this explanation at all!
