There are a few Scottish dialects, around Tayside I think, where it's
pronounced "t", as if saying "tnife" for "knife" &c, otherwise, not.

I don't know if this is still current, but I've seen "knock" (clock)
written "tnock" by some mid-twentieth century female poet (I just can't
remember who, though it's in my collection somewhere!).

Scottish writers tend to write in a fairly standard way compared to how
they speak, and just because a writer writes "knock" &c doesn't mean he
doesn't say "tnock", however.
