If blue represents west, what represents east?

I do wonder about the specific shades chosen in the stripey lowlands flag.
Do they relate to other flags? Greens and blues have been used elsewhere of
course.

Sandy, your mountainy stripey flag doesn't work at all for me.

That's just a theory. Like you said, why is Kent's horse white too then?
