In Afrikaans sê ons ‘kansel’ en ook ‘preekstoel.’



Soos in die sinne:

-Die paartjie gaan mekaar trou belowe voor die kansel.

-Die doopouers staan in ’n ry voor die preekstoel.



Hier in SA het ons ’n Christelik-georiënteerde radiostasie genaamd

Radio Pulpit (E.) wat in Afrikaans as “Radio Kansel” bekend staan.
