We have some very similar words up here:


   - *loebas* = big, clumsy, slow but kind fellow (= ne löbben)
   - *lorejas* = sleazy but shrewd fellow
   - *bagage* = mean guy (= ne last, pronounced "begozje" (B), bagage (E)
   is "pakozje" ~ package (E))


Almost sounds as if Lorbas* *is a contamination of lorejas and loebas.
