I beg to differ. Since abot 200 years people speak what the government
forces them to speak.  Their children or grandchildren don't know anymore
that their
ancestors were forced into changing their language. That is what has shaped
the present linguistic landscape in Europe and is CONTINUING to do so. That
is the bitter truth.
