Now I translated one of your haiku translations today, that from the
English to Netherlands to Afrikaans:

Look

All you've seen before
Will look better if you look
At it as if new

Kijk

Al wat je ooit zag
Ziet er beter uit als je
Er naar kijkt als nieuw

Kyk

Watookal gesien
lyk beter met weërblyk
soos iets nuuts ontdek

Ek sê nie dis beter as uwe in die Nederlands nie, maar anders. Wat my
prikkel is dat ek u weergawe sonder moeite verstaan, al verskil dit so
van ons eie taalgebruik: Soos 'n stortbad onder 'n waterval; nuut en
algewoond gelyks, 'n ware uitbeelding van Ons Thomas se haiku!
