re Wild Garlic

We have 'ramson' or 'ramsons' in English as the word for wild garlic,
right now growing prolifically along the road I take every morning to
the village. The road is single track and, should you met another car
and have to drive onto the verge, the smell of crushed ramsons is
amazing !
