Beatiful, Hanne! But I wondered, does the last line "goi no koe" have five
syllables in Japanese? So then it must be go-i no ko-e, it is actually
pronounced that way, and is that also the case in colloquial or rapid
speech? I know the Dutch would make something like goy no kwe of this very
fast.   Maybe someone knows... Sincery yrs, Ingmar

"go-i no ko-e" (ごいのこえ = 五位の声 "night heron's voice") is indeed how it is
pronounced and perceived.
