19.01.2012

Jongeren gebruiken ‘jood’ voor leuke dingen

Den Haag - Opeens is 'jood' geen scheldwoord meer. Jongeren gebruiken het
woord om ergens mee hun enthousiasme te betuigen.

Net zoals vroeger gaaf, tof, cool, flex, jottem en gers. Of mieters, waus,
sfeer en wreed. 'Een vrije dag? Jood!'Deze week signaleerde columnist Marc
van Oostendorp op de website Neder-L (Elektronisch tijdschrift voor de
neerlandistiek) het nieuwe gebruik van het woord jood. 'Op scholen in
Zuid-Holland wordt het inmiddels gebruikt om aan te duiden dat iets
prachtig is...
